Beginners Course
Sharing is caring!
Are you ready to explore an authentic style of yoga in a safe and supportive setting? Yoga has been helping people to improve their health, happiness, clarity and creativity for thousands of years.
In today’s busy world, with little time to focus on what we truly need, it’s easy to be tempted by one quick fix after another. We know we should allow ourselves some exercise and relaxation, but then our days get filled up by more “important” things, leaving us feeling guilty and stressed.
Acharya’s House of Yoga would like to introduce you to a practice that offers countless benefits, both physical and beyond.
Established in 1968 by the noted Indian yogi Upendra Roy, Acharya’s pioneered yoga in Sydney. Over the decades, our school has introduced hundreds of people to the practice of yoga.
In our yoga practice, we use gentle yet invigorating physical postures to help relax and quieten the mind, boosting focus and creativity.

The practice develops a whole new relationship with the body, breath and mind. Through this, it becomes possible to let go of mental attitudes that no longer serve and to embrace all endeavours with greater clarity and creativity. I continue to balance professional life and motherhood with my teaching and yoga practice, which remains the foundation on which I draw strength in all areas of life.”
Even if you have been curious about yoga for some time, you may feel intimidated about taking your first class. In our Beginners Course, you can rest assured that all the other students are starting from the same place as you!
